Fair-pricing FAQ

Your questions answered.
What counts as an email?
One accepted recipient. A message to three recipients counts as three. Bounced sends still count (we did the work); suppressed recipients don't.
Are features gated by plan?
No. Every plan, including self-hosted, has the full feature set: templates, webhooks, inbound routing, and SSO.
Where does my data live?
Cloud plans run only on EU infrastructure under EU jurisdiction. Self-hosted lives wherever you put it.
What's the exit path?
The cloud runs the exact open-source code. Export your data, run docker compose up on your own hardware, and repoint DNS when you are ready to move.
Do unused emails roll over?
No. Plans are cheap enough that rollover accounting would cost more than it saves you.
Marketing blasts?
No. CamelMailer is built and priced for transactional mail. Bulk marketing violates the acceptable use policy on every plan, whether cloud or self-hosted.
